My favorite quote from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras says: Yoga chitta vritti nirodhah. This means that yoga occurs when we learn to still the fluctuations of the mind. Living and breathing in NYC can become cumbersome, at times even grueling, and often creates a negative inner dialogue which leads to stress and tension. I created Yoga Tout-Partout as a means of lowering and hopefully abating my negative inner dialogue by focusing on all the wonders life in this crazy city has to offer and as Lauren Hill puts it, “develop a negative into a positive picture.” Enjoy!
